In The Hollow

Hollow

In the hollow

I find my self mellow

Confused on what to follow

My decisions, the wind continues to blow

Damned to follow the flow

That keeps sending one into the hollow

Hmmm, how do I glow?

I won’t be condemned below

The cries of the night owl

Mocks as I’m damned to the hollow

THE NIGHT

The night is still young

I could still use a hug

To ease the weariness

Coming from physical weakness

The day is far gone

The night has been born

Blow the inner horn

As she’s already on

I love the night

Switch off all light

Let me take a bite

From her pleasing sight

DAWN TO DUSK

In the waiting room

He sits

As his fate would be decided

After years of service

Not even death

Could save

He was told to pray

Even by the forces against him

What an irony

He sat from dawn to dusk

Awaiting

Though his fate is sealed

The hour comes

He sits facing the grace

As the pronouncement was made

For he has been dissolved

From his service

To the gods

WHO KNOWS

He puts it in

As he gets overwhelmed in emotions

Her moans drowns him

He forgets himself in her sweetness

Oh! The dam is released

As he can’t gain control

Nature takes over

The blood didn’t spill

He’s not ready

Neither is she

The pills passes through

And yes

They just muted a great

Or a thorn in the flesh

Who knows

No one

THE BLOOD MOON

They say

Never look at the moon

For you’ll see a woman

Carrying firewood

It’s a bad omen for you

For you are pregnant

Oh!!!

She exclaims

I’ve seen the blood moon

It’s so beautiful

I have sang to it

And danced to it

What happens to me

She asked

You’ll lose your baby

She’ll come deformed

She’ll be filled with worms

Sorrow enveloped her

As the tears dropped from her eyes

For the blood moon

Had brought sorrows
